We should be Christians, not vigilantes, hiding behind masks & agendas, or names, just the gospel of Jesus Christ. People should want 2 b like us not fear us, we should be people that other people look up to, we should inspire & embody our beliefs. Jesus’ life & message was simple, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” All the other theologies & opinions that don’t mirror, reflect, or lead u to this, are distractions. A hero believes in & fights for what he/she believes in, only villains & vigilantes lose sight of their convictions, ideals, and morals, take matters into their own hands, cross the line, cut corners take shortcuts. But heroes see a need & fill a need, they respect & protect life. We should be fighting for life, eternal life because nothing else matters. We should be above the hate & sin of this world but not deaf to the plight of those bound by them. We see the train coming, the meteor, we see the enemy ready to attack the unsuspecting victim. We are invulnerable but will we sit idle, or use our gifts and our knowledge to help? We are heroes; we stand for & uphold the truth. Heroes in our everyday life rescuing those in need Romans 15:1 “We who are strong in faith should help the weak with their weaknesses, and not please only ourselves.” My point is: in the comic world Superman is the greatest hero ever because he embodied truth, justice, & the American way & all those that joined him believed & fought for what he stood for. We as Christians should do the same.
